Shrimp paste pesto

  • It's easy to make the sauce and it's delicious. The sauce gets 1 bottles of used mayonnaise/seasoning which is 200-250gr if I'm not mistaken. Can be used for several times to cook pasta. Storage in the freezer.
  • 👩🏻‍🍳Ingredients
  • pesto sauce:
  • -150-200gr basil, washed and dried with kitchen tissue
  • 1 grain garlic
  • 150 gr cashew nut, roasted
  • Lemon zest to taste (lemon zest)
  • Lemon juice from bh lemon
  • Salt n pepper to taste (just a little salt)
  • 200-250 ml Olive oil (I use sunflower seed oil) +-
  • 5 tbsp grated parmesan

  • Shrimp paste:
  • 500 gr peeled prawns
  • 500 gr spaghetti boiled al dente
  • 5 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • enough salt n pepper
  • 2 pcs garlic

  • Step
  • 1.Blend all ingredients of pesto with half oil, except parmesan
  • 2. After a bit smooth, add the parmesan and add more oil and blend until smooth.
  • 3. Sauté the garlic until fragrant, add the prawns, cook until the prawns are cooked, but don't take too long so that they are not hard
  • 4. Add 3 tablespoons or whatever you like with pesto sauce, stir, add salt and pepper, then add spaghetti and cherry tomatoes, mix well
